What Michael Did After He Lost His Low-Paying Banking Job by Taiosquare(m): 5:09pm On May 18, 2022 |
ON THE 22ND OF NOVEMBER 2018, MICHAEL RECEIVED A DEVASTATING EMAIL FROM HIS OFFICE THAT HE HAD BEEN SACKED He didn't receive any prior notice, and he wasn't going to be compensated.......he was now left with nothing. It was a banking job and he was earning just N50K every month. He didn't have any connections within the bank, so he had to accept his fate. After reading the email, he sank into his couch and decided to think hard about his life. He meditated deeply on the two possible paths ahead of him: 1. The easy and conventional path - To continue job hunting while squatting with his brother (nothing wrong with that) He could probably get lucky after 6 months and land a 100k/month job he thought to himself 2. The hard and unconventional path - To commit the next 90 days towards learning a high-level skill that would give him control of his time, his life, and his finances. He could end up making five times that 100k every month he thought to himself He knew he was going to be broke for while if he took the second path.... But with what his eyes had seen in his banking job: - The toxic environment - The overwhelming pressure to deliver - The meagre pay And a whole lot of dirty stuff he had to keep to himself for his safety.... The possibility of controlling his time & his earning capacity became very appealing to him as opposed to the 9-5 life he initially thought he wanted So he made up his mind and picked the hard and unconventional path. After making up his mind, he spent the next few weeks thoroughly searching for a skill that could give him the kind of life he now wanted. During the course of his research, he discovered a skill called Copywriting. Initially, he didn't want to give it a try, but something deep within him told him to do so. He took a leap of faith and decided to go through the basics so he could get a good hang of Copywriting. After going through the basics, he spent the next three months learning as much as he could about this skill. It took him many more months of practice (and working with different clients) to master the skill, but it was worth it. Today the average fee Michael charges for a Copywriting project is $3,000. Yes. The current exchange rate is N620/$1 (you can do the math). But the truth is that Michael did not start charging $3,000 per project overnight. It took him a while to get to where he is today. He had to put in a lot of work into mastering Copywriting and it has paid off big time. The same will apply to you if you decide to learn Copywriting today, You won't be charging $3000 for a project immediately. If you can be consistent and commit just two hours daily for the next three months, you will probably be able to charge more than that for a project in the near future. Copywriting is not for people who are not willing to put in the required work. But just like Michael did, you will need to go through the basics of Copywriting first, before moving on to the next stage. And what better way to go through the basics than with the aid of a Starter Kit? You can get access to the Copywriting Starter Kit by clicking on the link below: https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/

Your copy has to appeal to the emotions of your reader. 99% of the decisions we make as humans are based on emotions. Unfortunately, many copywriters try too hard to appeal to the logical left side of the brain. https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

Of course, you can learn Copywriting on YouTube, But you won't get proper mentorship or guidance on YouTube. You also won't be taught how to get high-paying clients and how to negotiate with them. Paying for a course is always the best option https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

What you are told: • You don't need to be fluent in English to write an effective copy • You can become a pro in as little as 6 months. • It will be easy to make your first $10,000. Well, those are mostly false. What it is in reality: • You must be able to communicate effectively in English • It takes years to become a pro. • Getting high-paying clients isn't for the faint-hearted https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

As a newbie Copywriter, You have probably only worked with clients who sell low-ticket items and the ROI you would have gotten them might not be very impressive in numbers wise. The smart thing to do is to specify the ROI percentage wise. E.g. I increased their sales by 500% https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

The Offer section of your copy is one of the most important sections. If you don't do it effectively, you will lose a lot of potential customers on the spot. Like Alex Hormozi would say, you need to make an offer so good that your reader will feel very stupid for not taking it. https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

Ideally a sales copy should have various transition points. Transition points are used to connect the different blocks of your sales copy together, So that the message your are passing to your reader makes sense. Refusing to include transition points can leave your reader utterly confused. https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |

When writing an ad copy, you need to think platform-wise. You can't use the same tone or length you would use for an Instagram Ad for a LinkedIn or Twitter Ad. Each social media platform has what works for it, you need to play by those rules. https://taiosquare.com/copywriting-starter-kit/ |
