The Nigeria U20 team conquered all other teams in the WAFU B Championship as they emerged winners of the competition and gave qualified for the U20 AFCON tournament.

Some players stood out for the Nigeria U20 team during the WAFU B Championship and their contributions to the help cam in handy as the Flying Eagles made Nigeria proud.

Here are best Nigeria U20 players in the just concluded WAFU B Championship which Nigeria emerged as winners after beating Benin Republic by 3:1 in the final match.

1. Daniel Daga:

This is one Nigeria U20 player who can easily pass as the most valuable player of the WAFU B tournament. He has picked up two man of the match award in four games.

At 15, Daniel Daga drove the Nigeria U20 team forward with ease and the maturity of a veteran during the WAFU B Championship.

Nigeria U20 team defeated the Ivorian counterparts 2-1 in their semi final fixture mainly because of Daniel Daga who put on a fantastic performance to help the team.

Despite putting Nigeria on the lead as early as 5th minutes of the game through Daga's fantastic finish, the Flying had to struggled as Cote d’Ivoire forced the game into extra time.

But Daga took charge of the midfield in the performance that earned him man of the match award.

In the final match against Benin Republic, he was also very dominant in the Midfield and that was very helpful for the team. He is certainly a player for the future.
