ARTHUR NZERIBE WAS A COMMON DENOMINATOR IN THE POLITICAL LEXICON OF NIGERIA, SAYS UZODIMMA
 
His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma with his wife, Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma today, paid their last respects to one of Imo cum Nigeria’s political icon, Late Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe, the Governor describing him as a common political denominator in the lexicon of Nigeria.

While addressing the congregation at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Oguta during the funeral service for Late Senator Nzeribe, Governor Hope Uzodimma eulogized the late Senator for his impactful role in the advancement of democracy in the country.
 
In addition to the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prof. Placid Njoku, other prominent Imolites and Nigerians who were present to pay their last respect to the late Senator were: former Governor Ikedi Ohakim and his wife Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Ohakim; Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and his wife; Chairman of Imo State Elders Council, HRM Eze Dr. Cletus Ilomuanya; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and former INEC Chairman, Prof Maurice Iwu.
 
Others in attendance were the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibe; the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu; Secretary to Government of Imo State, Chief Cosmas Iwu; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie and other top government officials.

Arthur Nzeribe must rot in hell for his rile in June 12.

Without Arthur Nzeribe, Hope Uzodinmgba wouldn't have emerged as a serious political figure in Imo State politics today because we all knew that e was up to no good from day one. You can go to Orlu and ask them. Arthur Nzeribe hyjacked Orlu senatorial seat and used it to fight his personal battles both locally and federally. He never used that position to defend his socalled constituency. It was the way he misused that seat that led to the general electoral apathy amongst Orlu people, which Hope Uzodimma capitalized on to take over from him and become a senator, then a governor.. He wasn't interested in doing anything for the people. He was fixated on his uncanny brand of disruptive politics.

His political moves bought a lot of bad names for us in Imo State, yet we never sent him to go and act in this way. He glamorized money politics with little or no substance on ground. You can go to Imo state today and see several projects done by his mates or fellow billionaires like the Iwuanyanwus and co, Arthur Nzeribe did nothing! Unless in his Oguta hometown. He is gone now to meet his maker and our ancestors. He will explain to them how he sold arms to those who were killing his people. Let's leave the sleeping dog lie. Folks should never attempt to deify Arthur Nzeribe in Imo State politics! That will only bring back a lot of bad memories..
