Oh no, the politicians are mostly touts with money. The elites are the lawyers, bankers, professionals, top businessmen and women of asokoro, lekki, ikoyi etc who look on politics with disdain and find it difficult to come out to vote during elections.

The uneducated, poor and hungry nigerians select our leaders. The suya seller will leave benin to Kano to go and vote during elections. The lecturers stay in the comfort of their homes and follow the elections on tv.
