Job Responsibility

• Strict compliance with requirements for processing Group Confidential Information Protection and
Data Security.
• Taking rough notes that accurately reflect the decisions and discussion that took place during the
meeting.
• Writing up these notes in an agreed format (whether electronically or in hard copy) so that information
can be easily discerned and communications are clear, thus avoiding any confusion. Responsibilities and
ownership must be clearly indicated within the minutes.
• Ensuring that a copy is filed appropriately, keeping all minutes together in a file for future reference.
• Ability to transcribe from remote attendance of a meeting
• In person attendance and transcription
• Ability to offer faster turn around times where required.
• Overall capacity to manage multiple cases or multiple projects at a point of time.
• Supplier to provide regular reporting with analysis of transcription case closures for a continuous review
mechanism.
• A few trials to be undertaken and quality of transcripts from the trials including supplier quality
assurance.
Brief knowledge and experience of investigations and case management (not compulsory

• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the extant
labour law, decisions of the national Industrial Court of Nigeria and other superior courts. regulatory
requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and
business conduct.

This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and
the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualification

• Drive the Group’s brand and values in Nigeria using the disciplinary hearing as a platform.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and
procedures.
• Degree in Law preferred
• Call to Bar certificate
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Law
• Proven experience in dispute management.
• Strong conceptual and domain knowledge of employment and labour Law in Nigeria
• Knowledge and understanding of the banking industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: #230k-250k
