Two persons were burnt to death in a tanker explosion in Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. The incident occurred at the popular Odumodu Junction, along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway on Tuesday morning, May 24. According to an eyewitness, the tyre of the tanker loaded with gas burst and it collided with a shuttle bus. Confirming the incident, the Director of Anambra State Fire Service, Dr Martin Agbili stated that two people were burnt to death.
