The African Continent, though it is the second most populous after Asia, it is sadly the least developed among them. One of the factors that has retarded Africa's development is that Africans see Africa from the analytical lenses of Westerners, who have gained better understanding of the Continent, via extensive travels and intensive explorations of Africa. We don't know our Continent as much as Westerners and Asians know it, this is because of the low volume of intra-Africa trade and migration. As Chinua Achebe once said: "Until the lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter." As more Africans migrate within Africa for studies, tourism and business purposes, we would be able to tell our stories to the world and be able to blend imported solutions with homegrown solutions to liberate Africa from the shackles of underdevelopment.
