APC Group Drums Support for Tumala

Ahead of tomorrow's Senatorial Primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress, a leading support group of the party - APC Youths Renaissance has enjoined delegates to vote for Dr. Mohammed Tumala to enable him fly the flag of the party for Borno South Senatorial District in next year's National Assembly election.

In a statement released to newsmen in Maiduguri by the North-East Coordinator of the group, Mr. Yusuf Abdul, the group urged fellow delegates to use the opportunity to elect a renowned economist with undying love for the youths and women empowerments in the country.

Early last week, the group had endorsed Dr. Tumala, saying he is the only one with the capacity to attracting Federal presence and developmental projects to the state.

The group further noted that the approval ratings of Dr. Tumala far exceeds the rest eying the Senatorial seat and therefore urged the delegates to use the occasion to elect a candidate that can bring victory to the party in the state.

Dr. Tumala remains the candidate to beat in this race.
