Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu, have been dragged to an Abeokuta High Court in Ogun State, over the Olowu stool.

Dosunmu was installed as the Olowu of Owu, six years ago, while Obasanjo who is also from Owu is the Balogun of Owu. In the suit marked AB/158/2011 and filed before the court, the plaintiff who is also one of the contenders for the Olowu stool,
Prince Olutayo Fadairo, sought an order of perpetual injunction restraining Dosunmu from parading himself as the Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta.
