I came across some funny but enlightening videos on the internet, so I decided to share one with Nairalanders. In the short video was a hawker who was promised 1000 Naira, if he provides the answer to the question 400 + 300 - 25?, he couldn't provide the answer after several attempts. So, I say the advantage of educating oneself doesn't have to be able to get a good job in the field one specializes, but education also build us mentally/psychologically to be able to think and manipulate our environments i.e makes us smarter, understand things faster, give solutions to problems faster etc. Watch video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ia-WP4iy70 |
