Two females,Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu,daughter of james Ibori,former governor of delta state and Evelyn Oboro,a former house of representative member,defeated their male co-contestants in a PDP primary rerun for the house of representative. Ibori daughter defeated Ben Igbakpa,believed to have the strong support of Gov. Ifeanyi okowa by 46 to 22 votes for Ethiope federal constituency. Evelyn oboro on her part,defeated Napoleon Gbinije and Efe Afe with 45 against 36 and 18 votes respectively.for the okpe/sapele/uvwie federal constituency.

Gbinije would have won that constituency if he was ever on ground after election because Evelyn and Afe are a disappointment to both Uvwie and Sapele, nothing to show for the one term they both served.
