Ecuador head coach Gustavo Alfaro has released his 25-man squad for the friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, reports Completesports.com.

La Tri will take on the Super Eagles in a friendly at the Red Bull Arena Harrison, New Jersey on June 2nd.


The South Americans have also lined up friendlies against Mexico and another African side Cape Verde.

Ecuador will also take on Mexico and Cape Verde on June 5 and June 11 respectively.


Brighton & Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo, Villarreal defender, Pervis Estupian and veteran forward Enner Valencia are some of the big stars named in the squad by Alfaro.

Dennis Arrives Super Eagles Camp Ahead Ecuador Friendly

Emmanuel Dennis has joined his Super Eagles teammates in New Jersey as they get set to play Ecuador in their second friendly game in the United States.

Dennis’ arrival on announced on the Super Eagles verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.


“Update! Emmanuel Dennis @dennisblessed42 has joined us here in New Jersey. #SoarSuperEagles.”

Dennis will hope to help the Eagles return to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat to Mexico in the early hours of Sunday in Dallas.

The Watford forward’s last appearance for the Eagles was in the second leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifier against Ghana in Abuja in March.

The match is actually today Thursday 2nd June in the USA

GOAL considers the likely line-up to be utilised from the off by Jose Peseiro against the South American side in New Jersey


Francis Uzoho (Goalkeeper)
The Cyprus based goalkeeper has been in goal in Nigeria’s last three matches. He made crucial saves in the 2-1 defeat to Mexico, and will surely be starting against the South Americans.


William Troost-Ekong (Centre-back)
