Honestly I think as first timer, Nyesome Wike tried so much for having polled 271 votes in this just concluded PDP primary. If Peter Obi had stayed back in PDP the question is can obi got up to that 271 votes. Perhaps this he had seen already that made him decamp to LP to save face. Anyim got just 7 votes anyways.

Secondly, Obi's resignation from PDP is a big political suicide for him and a complete banishment of Igbos in PDP because as it is now, Wike is a force to reckon with in PDP. And also with outbust of the Ohaneze on Atiku they have already ostracized themselves from producing a running mate to Atiku.

And take it or leave it, peradventure Atiku don't go far in 2023 election, with this popularity Wike has gained in this primary, Nyesome Wike is the new force to look for in PDP come 2027.

And lastly, where is the remaining 93 votes?? Eastern delegates are 100, if Anyim got just 7 votes, then who did the remaining 93 delegates vote for? So we can now see who are the real enemies of thier own brothers are here.

Obi's resignation from PDP is a BIG blow for the party. Atiku can never win in South East, South South, South West and North Central. North West and North East will be shared between him and Kwankwaso. No this and know peace.
