A Yoruba adage says -

"The ant that is eating the vegetable dwells under the vegetable"

Why do the Igbo people feel comfortable living amongst Yoruba states like their second home but show little to no loyalty towards the Yorubas?
Until this question is answered the Igbo will continue to be looked at with suspicion

Terms like Ewedu and Afonja are always used in a condescending manner by Igbos, a thing that other tribes don't do.
Why has the Igbo nation always voted against Yoruba's right from independence from Awolowo to Abiola

Why?

Nigeria is a federation and any citizen has the right to reside wherever they chose.
Yorubas live in Igbo land too and are not required to be loyal to Igbos.

In regards to your second question, Yoruba started the backstabbing, but Igbo will finish it at their own chosen time.

There's nothing like Yoruba states but Nigerian states. All Nigerians can stay anywhere in Nigeria. Thats the benefit of being a Nigerian!

When you share Niger Delta oil money, do you question what right you have to receive money from a land thats 1000km away from you? A land that you may not have stepped into!

And why is Yorubas so greedy that they refused to allow Igbo Presidency.

Obasanjo ruled for 8yrs as President

Osinbajo ruled for 8yrs as VP

Still yet Yorubas want Tinubu for another 8yrs

It all started when Your fore father Azikiwe, deceptively invited Awo to Enugu for political merger.
Awo flew to Enugu to meet Azikiwe, but Azikiwe was already in Kaduna Signing political merger with Ahmadu Bello.
This was how Azikiwe pushed Awo and SW into opposition.
See no be today na since independence, Yorubas have since mastered the art of political survival.
Did you realized how many years SW spent in opposition while SE and the CALIPHATE NORTH holds sway?.
Our odds MUST be even out, what is good for the goose, is equally good for the gander.
Feel free to ask further questions.

I quite agree with you on this. Igbo spent 30 years with the north in military and civilian regime enjoying the spoilt of the game while Yoruba struggled in opposition.

Yoruba has not even spend half of what they spent with the north, yet they are crying betrayal up and down.

How did Yoruba betray Ibos?

Brunosamel:
See Questions how will I know go and ask your forefathers cuz the little I know it's Yoruba betrayal to the Igbo broke the trust between them.
Trust a Yoruba man at your own peril.

Prepare for the resentment that will follow from the regions that detest Fulani. You want to keep giving power to the Fulani right? You will pay a very HEAVY PRICE.

ZombieSlaughter:

If the meeting was specific about bringing it to the SE who have taken their turn. The meeting would have been fruitful.

There will be another chance after 8 years of northern rule. If you oppose SE, we'll return it back to the North. Greed must be tamed.

A man who is down fears no fall. grin
We know nigeria will not work, but since it is about majority and no longer about equity, then we'll play along.

Henceforth, the East will give other regions the same political vibe it gets from them. If you want equity, we dey. If you want scatter-scatter we still dey. We will make the best of every situation in nigeria. No more preaching. Our hearts are now hardened after years of numerous cries for justice while others mock us. grin

Prepare to start losing customers enmass. We shall boycott your fake spares parts, drugs, alcohol, electronics etc. We shall encourage local to start doing the businesses you've monopolized. If you Ibos know what's in stock for if you vote another Fulani, you wouldn't dare venture into such a dangerous game.

Lagos is a Nigerian state.
Shouldn’t that mean that we should show loyalty to Nigeria

Because Igbos mostly are in PDP. Only minority Igbos are in APC. Minority will not be allowed to "eat" the work of the majority. Not until you support APC and show loyalty, I can tell you for free that no Presidency for you. Because as it stands, PDP will not give you that opportunity. So you to you to smarten up or continue to sing you marginalisation, lamentation song for ever.
