Today, the candidates of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) held a strategic meeting and press briefing with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra Chapter in Awka State, Anambra where I, as the National Leader of the party and other YPP candidates reiterated our commitment to redefining the paradigm of governance and representation.

As the emerging third force in our continual strive to improve Nigeria’s democracy, Nigerians need the Young Progressives Party (YPP) now more than ever. The time is ripe, the hour has come and we are ready. We must forge ahead! We must take action! We must build!

Today in YPP, young Nigerians now have a party they can be proud of. A youth oriented party committed to rebuilding the nation. As flag-bearers of the party, we are conscious of the responsibility we hold to our Nation and we are clear about the points of action and areas of action we seek to pursue.

May God in his infinite mercy crown our efforts with resounding success as we gallantly embark on this journey of repositioning our dear nation for greater heights.
