You were there when Tinubu upturned the long established process of zoning the presidency between the north and the south, as Tinubu SW APC zoomed into the contest to succeed President Buhari, even though Tinubu SW APC knew that it is the turn of the SE to produce a successor to President Buhari.

After the show up of Tinubu SW APC that upturned zoning, the north had no choice but to also zoom into the presidential race.

APC was founded for Buhari to emerge in 2015 and will be dead after Buhari. The signs are showing. Immediately a Southern candidate is chosen, Northern APC will join Atiku, even if a Northerner is chosen, South East APC go Thier way and South West APC go Thier way.

These primaries will almost certainly be the end of APC as a ruling party.

OBJ became PDP presidential candidate in 1999 through consensus. Since then, zoning had influenced who became president.
Obviously, it's not yet the turn of the SW to produce a president in 2023.
But the activities of Tinubu and his SW APC which refused zoning threw the 2023 presidential race to all Nigeria's groups.

A.P.C are in a state of confusion right now because of Atiku & Kwankwaso.
Right now they are wondering where to get northern votes from because they already know Tinubu or any Yoruba man can't guarantee victory for them.
Tinubu is only popular in the West, & no South-East or South-South person can ever vote for Tinubu.
And the north would rather vote for their brothers Atiku or Kwankwaso to be president, than to vote a Yoruba man.
The only option right now for A.P.C is to pick a consensus candidate from the north, & then zone the V.P to the south.
Unfortunately the only position Tinubu can dream of getting based on Analysis is being the V.P.

The VP slot for him is even more difficult because it will need a Christian president to sell, otherwise it will be a Muslim/Muslim ticket

who will vote Peter Obi in the core north? Peter can not even win in Anambra.
No core Northerners will vote Peter Obi.
The only Igbo candidate that will be welcome in the north is Rochas okorocha, very popular in the core north.
