I saw written on a piece of paper :
THINK.
WE NATION, OUGHT TO ALWAYS PRAY FOR OURSELVES.

The scripture calls us an Holy nation.
1 Peter 2 : 9

Correct?

If that is so, when we do deviate from that standard, we miss the mark, right?
1 Peter 1 : 15 - 17

And as the holy nation of God, walking in the standard set, are to pray for ourselves, that those weak may be healed ; that those backslidden may be restored ; that those in trouble may be rescued.
That doesn't mean we are to neglect the art of correcting and rebuking and exhorting.
While we are at praying, do these mentioned things, if need be.

For example :
1.God help Sister so and so, she is not smart in her relationships
2. God empower brother so and so, he has lots of mouth to feed
3. God heal their dad/mum, that the children may not be left unattended to properly etc.
In the name of Jesus.

The prayer of brethren walking in unrighteousness brings no power down.
James 5 : 16
