After the Pearl Harbor attack by Japanese military, the US President FDR and the United States ramped up their war efforts and decided to hit Japan. The US Navy needed a morale boost and everyone wanted Japan to feel the burn.

The US military formulated a daring plan to launch US bombers from an Aircraft Carrier and bomb Tokyo. It worked to an extent; sixteen (16) B-25 bombers managed to bomb a few military and government targets in Tokyo - including some near the Emperors Palace.

That's why US dropped Atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Yeah I read about the kamikaze , japanese believe in dying with honor as long as they go down with the enemy , their way crime plenty die no wonder they ain't allowed to own certain military power like fleets and nuclear missiles

Honestly speaking, Japanese are not scared of death, they currently have the highest number of suicide rate in the world. During war, they can be so brutal and daring as death means nothing to them...

Japan's wouldn't know when it is game over if USA had used regular air bombardment they would have regrouped and fought to death

Usa had to think of something more terminating with Little death but maximum effect to stop them that's when the approved the atomic bomb for usage

Bros, both Countries were technologically advanced and had the military might. America had an edge over Japan because of atomic bombs they dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

American had an edge over them before the use of the atomic bomb, if the Americans hadn't use the atomic bomb the Japanese population would have gone extinct because the Japan soldier's and common men were ready to Sacrifice there lives for a war they know they wouldn't win...they wouldn't agree to defeat even when it was glaring

What most don’t know about the kamikaze pilots is that , there where mostly drugged out on crystal meth. That’s one of the origins of crystal meth

I agree with you! The Japanese rather die than surrender. Those their honour code are quite absurd.

Do you know one interesting thing about USA dropping an atomic bombs on Japan? It was used more to scare the Soviet Union than to defeat Japan. although the Japanese were die hard.
