Fayemi is a crafty and calculating politician, a smart survivalist.

He read the tea leaves and quicky played his card right. You can not be be against Tinubu and survive in the SW, the sad lesson Judas did not learn or see coming.

There's no upside or any advantage in going against Tinubu, but supporting and standing with him has immense upside and benefits, this is a great move for Fayemi.

My opinion: I honestly think the decision and agreement to step down for Tinubu was reached before the convention, but was agreed to do it during the convention to send a message during the convention.
