If you don't want your writers using pennames, how about requesting that their penname matches the account name? It's not as if people cannot send you the wrong IDs. Suppose a good candidate doesn't have a PVC? I guess you'll both lose out. This is the most ridiculous of all requirements I've read for freelancing jobs anywhere.

But I've been writing for almost a year

I just ignored the job post because, I can't apply for a job and be discredited because of a PVC,

Make sure your portfolio is good ��.
