THE CHAPEL OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OF KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY WAS DEMOLISHED BY THE KADUNA STATE GOVERNMENT :

The pictures you see below are pictures of school chapel that was demolished at the Kaduna State university, KASU.

The Christian Community have been staying without a chapel for over 17 years of the school's existence..

Just as the Construction of the Chapel began after about 17yrs of the school's existence, the government came and demolished it with the excuses that the structure is an illegal structure.

According to our source Hundreds of police men and military collected the phones of the lecturers at the site as they demolished the church under construction.

On speaking to the Director General of KASUPDA the agency who supervise the demolition ,he said KASUPDA had no idea whether the proposed structure would have been a church or any other building but stressed that the developers contravened the law and for that reason, KASUPDA performed its statutory duty by removing it.

It must be noted that the university has about 5 mosques in its premises, yet denying the Christians the right to even own a chapel.
