It was omisore that did most of the game. He act silently as the secretary of the party by giving tinubu the Intel about the next move of the cabals and also don't allow them to tamper with the delegates list provided for the convention

Tinubu played his game so well. He really prepared for betray. He chose Omisore out of no where over his loyalists that was baffled me. To me I wondered why would he do that? If was shittu,Tinubu wont have gotten APC candidate.

Atiku emergence in pdp dislocated apc former plan.
So the mentioning of Jonathan, it was a true option.

They genuinely thought he could be their candidate.
Tinubu wasn't considered until final moment because after considering all options, he was better alternative.

Buhari did not plot the coup that brought him to power in 1983. He was brought in after the event by the plotters in the same way as Gowon and Muhammad. He does not have that kind of organizational ability. This failing is what IBB capitalized on to overthrow him.
He does not listen and he is not decisive often taking ages to take obvious decisions.
Again in party politics he does not have that ability to organize people and that is why a so called cabal emerged. None of his cabal is a politician of note and they are just riding on Buhari's popularity among the millions of illiterates in the North
What happened would never have happened if the likes of Kwankwaso, Ibori or Tinubu was president.
Buhari was not clear in his mind what he was trying to achieve
