PETER OBI IS NOT AN IGBO PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.

It is infinitely wrong to look at PETER OBI as an IGBO presidential candidate. I will tell u why.

When u drive ur car to a mechanic workshop, u do not worry about d tribe of the mechanic especially so, if u are assured of his competence. When u go to a hospital for an important surgery, u do not worry that the team of medical experts are not drawn from ur tribe, u want to live and whoever will give ur health the needed boost is welcome.

Hunger has no tribe. And, hunger has no religion.

Poverty has no tribe. And, poverty has no religion.

Acute sickness has no tribe. And, acute sickness has no religion.

Today, Nigerians are hungry, poor and sick. The majority of Nigerians are below d poverty line. Many have no access to good medicare. These issues cut across all tribes and cultures.

How do we solve the problem? How do we arrest the steady descent into hunger, poverty and sickness? Do we vote for the person who will likely win or do we vote to change the narrative? If u vote for the person who will likely win, but whom u know will not deliver, that makes u PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE because u are joining hands with our oppressors.

We must vote to change the narrative.

Just as u don't ask if the mechanic is from ur village or if the doctor is of ur tribe, we would not look at PETER OBI as an Igbo; we look at him as the mechanic who will put our economy in perfect shape, we look at him as the doctor who will rescue our economy from imminent and fatal collapse.

If u are not happy that no serious effort is being made to make our educational system functional and effective in the new era, then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that we are borrowing to service debts and to fuel consumption then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that most youths are unemployed and unemployable then vote for PETER OBI.
If u are not happy about the epileptic nature of electricity then vote for PETER OBI.

The question u must answer is: would u allow ur beautiful car to remain unusable because d mechanic is Igbo? Or, would u rather die than allow an Igbo expert to take care of our health?
Do u hate yourself that much, to allow poverty to destroy ur children when there is a genuine and legitimate way out through PETER OBI?

All youths must act now.

This is d last month for getting the PVC. We, the youths demonstrated in Lekki. What happened? They sent soldiers to kill us. The time has come for us to get involved in a way that they cannot kill us. Get ur PVC and get ready to flush these parasites in our nation away. We cannot miss this golden opportunity.

Let the youths arise!
Nigerians must reclaim their land.

The Vice Ice Cream president they saw, what was the gain?

Are their children not at home? Is food not more expensive?

Is inflation not higher?

Is diesel, dollar etc not higher?

We are talking of someone who has practical solution.

You are exhibiting a deficit in your Omoluabi.

Yoruba can exist and survive and thrive without Nigeria. Nigeria is the one in need of Yoruba, not the other way as your input suggests.

Yoruba can have a President, it doesn't need Nigeria for that....but greed and depravation of principled and disciplined leadership is our obstacle.

Be bo-bo-ing yourself

South west is the largest income earner in Nigeria after crude oil

You have placed your south east under lock and key pretending you are fighting federal govt. Nonsense

Fact check : it's Yoruba and Hausa/ Fulani that have ruled Nigeria most, and everyone knows

Obasanjo did 4years military, 8 years democracy , bring anyone from your region to beat that. Even the just announced June 12 was pioneered by a Yoruba man. What do you guys contribute or bring to the table except going to Biafra?

Pathetic!

Tinubu worked with Northern guys and gave them power for 8years, whether they reciprocate and vote back for him, that's his own headache, but what were you guys doing during all those period, you were voting for opposition party, then when governance starts you will be crying marginalisation,

How many of you guys will vote for peter obi who is even your blood?

Many of them will hid inside their houses or be going to shop on Sunday saying nothing concerns me about Nigeria, saying Nigeria is a failed state, a zoo, forgetting that he who leaves his problems for farm will come back home and meet it where he left it.

Most of the backbone of Buhari s cabinet are Yoruba, Lai Muhammed, Aregbesola, Femi Adeshina, etc even his vice president is Yoruba,

If you want to lead, learn how to follow
Now lemme ask you when last did your region produced the President?

It is well!

Ask urself this very simple question... Is it all about Yoruba winning/being in power or it's about the country working the right way it should?
This religion/tribal bigotry mentality is the main reason why we are still stranded and recked as a country...
Change that mindset today, it doesn't lead us anywhere.

Whatever happens, the Presidency will matter less going forward. Nigerians should go and prepare for the inevitable future which will arrive whatever we do because the world is changing and we must change with it too or die.

Don't be worrying about Yoruba and the office of President that may be significantly less relevant in the next 10 years max. The Yorubas by all account, seem to be the only ones who have seen the future and are preparing for it.

Change that mindset today, it doesn't lead us anywhere.

You must keep in mind that all OP has said is his opinion and his opinion alone. The Yorubas want permanent changes specifically centred around the freedom for every Nigerian person, State and region to move at their own pace and according to their endowment toward self-actualised progess.

In fact I think the Yorubas, of all Nigerians ethnic group, are least covetous of the over-concetration of power in the Presidency and centre they regard as unfeasible, self-destructive, self-limiting and repressive going forward.

OP is far off the pace talking about 16 years. With the right things being done exemplarily by pace-setting Yoruba then other Nigerians will join agitations to gain more power over their own direction and progress.

Below is the arrogant power of the Presidency the Yorubas would like to see end because it can preclude and impede what is best for Nigeria if the President is a headstrong, ill-advised and undemocratic person without the mindset to understand that one person, or his small group of selfish acolytes, cannot know what is best for 230 milliob Nigerians.

Let us start putting more fundamental ideas to the democratic test rather than continuing to run the sort of Presidential system that will surely see Nigeria go down horribly in a world becoming increasingly more challenged and troubled socio-economically specifically due to resources needed to sustain humanity becoming more scarce.

Those calling for restructuring naïve, dangerous, says Buhari
June 20, 2021

By Ibrahim Wuyo

President Muhammadu Buhari virtually foreclosed the restructuring of Nigeria, Saturday, when he said there was nothing to restructure.

“And again those who are discussing restructuring, my question is, what are you going to restructure? If you ask many Nigerians what they are going to restructure, you will find out that they have nothing to talk about.

Bros, I respect you on this forum and I have always trusted your political analysis. I want to ask again, sir. Are u sure Jagaban is going to restructure this country? I mean state policing, total resource control and contribution of stipulated percentage to the center, regional, state and local government autonomy etc.

Will he be willing to forgo such tremendously tempting power when he gets there? Jona and Obj come to mind. They never did when they had the opportunity to do only to now be wailing about restructuring after they left.

The South West is trying to foist on Nigeria a man they can never ever allow to govern their region. Is the black man not terrible?

Meanwhile, with Lagos State being the commercial capital of Nigeria, it is safe to say that the South West region is the biggest beneficiary of one Nigeria.

As a result, with or without the presidency, money and investments will keep flowing into the region.

Sir, nothing is sure in political life but we can certainly use what a politician has done to predict how he will act. In an elective democracy, that is probably the best decision-maker for an electorate and its voters.

The strenght of Lagos today is down to the determination of Tinubu to wean the State of the begging bowl syndrome afflicting all Nigerian States back then and till today.

I.e the indolent over-reliance on allocation stipend from the centre virtually all Governors were addicted to.

Tinubu singular obsession with increasing IGR to make Lagos able to survive without federal allocation, a task he has now has achieved to universal acclaim, is ultimate proof of Jagaban's core belief that people, organisations, States, regions, entities etal must look inward exhaustively before placing the onus of their own growth and development entirely at the doors of others.

Tinubu was the first governor to introduce PPPs (Public private secretary partnership) to address the issue of financing for instrastructural development at a time every Governor would go to the FG to demand money for construction of even a road 200 metres long !!!!!!

Match that core political belief of Tinubu ,i.e decentralised democratic system, with the fact he is the only one who can tackle the cabal preventing the progress of Nigeria and it is obvious BAT should be the choice of pragmatists and critical thinkers who understand the challenges of Nigeria and what/who can tackle those challenges effectively.

Please read the article below from someone who has been in the position to know what and who ails Nigeria and is aware of what and who can tackle them.

https://punchng.com/only-tinubu-can-break-cabal-holding-nigeria-down-ex-nupeng-scribe-kokori/?utm_source=top-story&utm_medium=web&amp

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, “is the only living politician capable of breaking the cabal holding Nigeria down”, Chief Frank Kokori, a former General Secretary of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, has said.

Kokori, an APC elder in Delta State, while speaking with journalists on Sunday in his Ovu residence in the Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state, applauded Tinubu’s emergence as the party’s flagbearer for the 2023 general election, saying, “I don’t think there’s a better candidate than Tinubu; who can take on the cabal and rescue Nigeria finally.”
