Global Economy is going to take a hit as expected. Interest rates were lowered during the pandemic. This created high inflation, and interest rate are now rising at fastest pace in decades all over the world to curb inflation. Central banks economists in different countries of the world are trying to find a fine balance of increasing interest rate to curb inflation while also not triggering a recession as people will claw back on spending.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine also did not help matters. It has driven up price of wheat and oil commodities.


Ps: The grammar used in that reporting is not the finest. I wasn't surprised it was written by a Nigerian. Abeg improve on it. Nigeria's educational systems needs help.
