Good day House, pls I need advice to advance my career. I am a Chartered Accountant and for the last two years I have found myself managing projects for my firm. Right now I want to take it to the next level by obtaining the PMP certification and my question is since I am not an Engineering graduate, what chance do I stand as a PMP with an Accounting background? Pls I need honest answers and not cynical answers. Thanks y'all. |

sure u dont need to be an engineer. project management concepts are devoid of any discipline specifics. u might do well in costs & risks cos of ur bground sef focus on the quality side well sha. some of the tools used like pareto charts, fault tree analysis etc. are more familiar with the engr peeps. |
