PDP picking a Delta man for the post of vice president shows that the South East is not politically relevant despite their sacrifice to PDP since 1999.

This means that by 2031, South South would win VP slot with a Northerner as presidential candidate in major political parties probably from Delta or Edo state.

Atiku choice of South South is because the region has more states and is more populated than the south east. Insecurity in the South East also destroy the chances as ipob might desrupt election. After all, there is significant population of indigbo in the South South two.


The 2023 presidential election will not favor the South East, and political power would stay in the South, from all indications.

do you have problem with that? Will you be happy to have igboman as your president? The answer is no ,why are you crying that they are not ruling you? If only people from your region will make Nigeria an Eldorado ,do you think most people will be worried who is in government and the tribe they belong? Oga everyone can't be president at the same time.

Genuine leadership and de-tribalise individual will take care of this problem.

Tinubu is the right man for the job and i believe he's more healthier than every other Presidential candidates. Let us all vote Tinubu our incoming President. Let us embrace peace and also embrace Tinubu's Manhood as our next President. He is the best choice .

The problem is that if the igboman replies you, u will either say he is saucy or emotional.

You mentioned tribalism and bigotry.

Igbo men are already replying. Peter Obi was reported to have visited Lagos but went straight to Igbo Church is usual practice.

Peter Obi was invited and he simply honor the invitation. If you want Peter Obi to come to where you worship, simply invite him.

Obi does not go from church to church. That is one thing with Catholics.

Am an Imolite. We have not had a good governor since the days of Late Sam Mbakwe.

The reason why igbo people crave for Obi is because of his legacy in anambra of which sovereign wealth fund is the one that is crucial.

I am of the opinion that government should not create debt but productivity and revenue for incoming government.
The previous government might have revenue but might not have the insight, technology and techniques at the time.

A classical example is Obj administration.
He came in, reduced debt incurred during military, improved telecommunications, increase foreign reserve of Nigeria and even the excess crude oil account.

Though his effort towards power generation failed, he had stuff to boast off..

Imo airport under Sam Mbakwe was built by the people with almost no loan from bank.

The reason why people advocate for Obi is simple. At the current stage Nigeria is with inflation, dollarization of economy, insecurity, uncertainty et al, what Nigeria needs is someone with real business acumen and proven track record.
