Mbaka revealed he never wanted to speak about Peter Obi again but couldn't do so after he saw a 2018 video of his apology to Peter Obi being currently circulated on social media by people campaigning for Peter Obi's 2023 presidential aspiration.

Mbaka was forced by Enugu catholic diocese bishop to make an apology to Peter Obi whom he called stingy in 2018 for refusing to openly make a donation at Mbaka's church harvest and bazaar.

Mbaka said he made the apology under duress because he had to obey his Bishop. He however said that the apology he made is a curse on Peter Obi. He said Peter Obi must come to the Adoration Ministry ground to apologize to the holy spirit.

Mbaka Blasts: Peter Obi is a stingy man, he won't be Nigeria's President

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr. Ejike Mbaka has dropped a bombshell, saying Dr. Peter Obi is a stingy man and cannot be Nigeria’s President, IGBERETV reports.

He spoke during a prayer service on Wednesday at the church in Enugu, which was attended by thousands of worshippers.

Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State is the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in next year’s presidential election.

Mbaka said Obi was a man without a generous spirit, adding that “a gum-holder would not be accepted a Nigerian leader”.

In his words;

“It is better to have a president who is a gifted old man than a young man with ‘gum’ hands.”

"Peter Obi is not going to win this election unless he comes and apologizes to me.

We do not need a igbo man like Peter Obi to represent us in the presidency.

An old man is better than a wicked young man."

According to Mbaka, former Vice President Abubakar Atiku had shown that he is ready to run for office because he and Peter Obi are no longer in the running.

“Peter Obi has a mouthful, he has nowhere to go unless he kneels down on the Adoration altar.” Mbaka said in a report by BBC Igbo Services.

He added that Obi had had insulted the Holy Spirit, saying that he helped Obi to become governor in Anambra and that he never returned to thank God.

Mbaka said: “Who doesn’t spend his money eating what you want to support? Do you want people to starve? If he becomes president, he will close our ministry.

“If Igbo people are looking for a representative in Nigeria, they are not the kind of person Peter Obi is. Whoever refuses to donate to the church should be the president?”

He reiterated that he is not saying Peter Obi is corrupt but he is only saying that Peter Obi is stingy.

Mbaka added that his prophecies has always come to pass. He recounted how he advised Jonathan to replace Jega before the 2015 presidential election, but Jonathan refused, and consequently lost the election to Buhari. Mbaka also said he advised Atiku to change Peter Obi as his running mate in 2019, but Atiku didn't listen and as a result of that Atiku failed to win the presidential election.
