The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has finally settled for Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as Atiku Abubakar running mate for the 2023 presidential election.

According to reports, the party will officially announce Okowa as Atiku’s running mate later in the day.

Recall, it was earlier reported that a 12-man committee-led by Chief Tom Ikimi, of the PDP is saddled with the responsibility of screening presidential nominees of the party, which is holding today, Thursday, June 16, 2022, in Abuja.

The Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, was said to have been the choice of the Atiku Abubakar, against Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike.
