If Buhari had not just finished an 8 year term you might hff ave a valid arguement. No be only north dem do Presidency for. Dem forbid north to be fair and be vice president ni?

Simple. Buhari from the NW is rounding up his 8 years in power and Kwankwanso taking over will be unfair to the south. So Kwankwanso as VP is best while Peter Obi as President will balance the equation.

I forsee the following happening:

1. Labour Party continues as the 3rd force as it has connection with the Nigerian masses and the NLC/TUC.
2. Peter Obi remains the Presidential candidate

You don't know who to convince. This one doesn't have a sense of fairness. I stay in the North and I know how many of them I have convinced now. Leave this OP abeg.

Pragmatically, in the present northern Nigeria, there's no electoral breakthrough for Peter Obi or any south Easterners. What is fair for him now is to accept VP position with kwankwaso as the flag bearer under NNPP and not labour party.
This is the only means through which APC and PDP would be weakened to some extent
