Choosing the product to apply to your natural hair should be considered before applying it.
Not all hair products work exactly the same for everyone's hair. A hair product may work well for my hair and may not work well for yours, so it is best advised to know the type of hair product that suits your hair and to know the best way to apply them to your natural hair.
• To start with, knowing the best relaxer that suits your natural hair is a good thing to know, because some relaxers can cause skin infection in some people, scarring of the scalp in some people, and even hair thinning and permanent hair loss in some cases, so it would be better to stick to the relaxer that best suits your hair in other to avoid all this.
• Knowing the best shampoo for your natural hair would make your hair healthy and would also avoid loss of hair, damage of the hair, and clogged hair follicles (which means suffering from thinning hair).
• Knowing the best moisturizer would also be advisable because some moisturizers can cause clogged pores and increase acne, which can cause a painful pimple or swollen lump filled with pus under the skin.
• Knowing the best hair cream for your hair will also be advisable because some hair creams can weaken the connection between the hair keratin fibrils, resulting in brittle hair which is easily destroyed.
• Know which hair booster to use because some can cause skin rash, itching, peeling, and other side effects.
• Knowing the best conditioner that suits your hair and sticking to it will also be good. Conditioners are generally available in three categories:
1. Leave-in conditioner-is used after you wash your hair and is applied from the tip to the root of your natural hair and is not rinsed out.
2. Rinsed out conditioners-are used every time you wash your hair and are then rinsed out.
3. Deep conditioner- these are penetrating conditioners that add moisture and protein to the hair strand. Before using this conditioner, shampoo your hair first, then start rubbing the conditioner at the ends of your hair, then massage it up to your scalp.
But it is better if you use a leave in conditioner for your natural hair.
