The Bello Ambassadors Network (BAN), Kogi State Chapter has commended it's principal, the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, "for serving as a role model for young Nigerians and fighting a fight that Nigerians will not forget in a haste in the 2023 presidential race."

The group in a statement signed by it's Kogi State Coordinator, Honourable Hussein Attaja and made available to the press, noted that Bello has made them realized their strength as young people and would stay committed to the governor's course even though the primary elections are done dusted.

It says, "We want to state unequivocally that the governor's participation in the presidential election sparked enthusiasm in young people, even as the outcome was not what we expected.

"BAN Kogi Chapter is proud of the governor for his exceptional leadership style, particularly in the areas of youth and women inclusion, religion and tribal unity, education, and security. Even though the primaries are over, we remain committed to Governor Bello's struggles and have pledged unwavering support in his bid to make the country better.

"We also commend our members and teaming volunteers from Kogi State's 21 local governments. We saw your energy and declared emphatically that history will be kind to us. Even though we lost, our voices were heard clearly, and we did our jobs well. But this is not the end of the story. We urge everyone to stay focused and committed to our goals because better days are on the way. You should also be aware that we will be unveiling further programs in the coming days."
