Alot had really been going on base on the parental influence on youth choice of career nowadays, it's high time parents stop forcing their children into what they're not convinced of, for destiny is at the frequency of light not at the frequency of Age.
Alot of University students today are barely surviving their courses due to this indoctrination of my son must become an engineer, a banker, a doctor, please we must allow this youth to brood up in the Grace and gift they're embedded with so as not to be a stumbling Stone to their destiny.
Performing Art, Film & Television Production, Mass communication are one of the most underated course within the past years but Lagos State University, A.B.U Zaria, NTAtvc jos proved the rate wrong by brooding up so many stars; Pocolee, Bellash Murda, Oxlade, CDQ, DJ AB of YNS, Classiq the gospel section with Godwin Joel, G-willz, G.U.C, Yadah, hossĀnah, Preence-Gad, Kay-strings, Mallam gospel, Kespan, Simon-Singz, Wordsmith, Mercy Chinwo, Praise both in past, present and still continuously in exploration in the art world.
But it also takes a wise, deligent student to read history and create one not to read history and die with it, it's Time to wake up but the question is WHAT IS YOUR GIFT?

You can't exactly blame parents. There's are certain courses that no matter how you love them, study and graduate, your chances of making it in those fields are very slim, unless you have strong connections.
Check it, it's mainly the poor folks, those that know they don't have strong connections to back up their kids' in their desired fields that always force their kids to go into courses they imagine their kids would have a better chance of using to succeed in life.

Not saying it's right though, but these actions of the parents are borne out of love, most times.
