raumdeuter:School children in your village are currently sleeping in the forests and wiped by bandits and kidnappers. A teacher got kpaid while a nursing mother is being ravaged. The other day, I saw a video of little school pupils begging to escape through a police van for fear of being kidnapped. Those should be your concern as they are mine and not whether the failure called Tinubu should return in 2027 If you have any sense of responsibility you should be calling Tinubu out |

PRESS RELEASE* *NAF SUSTAINED AIR STRIKES TRIGGER TERRORIST APPREHENSION IN BORNO STATE* The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, has sustained its aggressive counter-terrorism air campaign in Borno State, delivering decisive strikes against terrorist strongholds and logistics enclaves within the Sambisa Forest axis. Following credible Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance reports, NAF air assets on 26 May 2026 executed precision strikes on identified terrorist hideouts and support structures at Biramiri in the Gezuwa general area of Borno State. The coordinated attacks destroyed key terrorist facilities and neutralised several fighters, further crippling the operational capacity of the insurgents. The intensity and precision of the ongoing air offensives have continued to generate fear and confusion among terrorist elements across the Sambisa axis. Intelligence assessments indicate growing apprehension and disorientation within the ranks of the terrorists as sustained bombardments deny them freedom of movement and safe havens. The NAF, in concert with troops of Operation HADIN KAI and other security agencies, remains resolute in maintaining relentless pressure on terrorist networks while reinforcing its commitment to protecting innocent lives and restoring lasting peace and security across the North-East. Ehimen Ejodame Air Commodore Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force. 26 May 2026 |

Spy360:Its unfortunate and inhumane that the travail of kids and innocents in the hand of criminals is what you choose to play politics with I am calling out the governor who collects security votes in our state and choose not to be responsible with it If governors cant govern they should say so, and return their allocation to the FG so the states can be managed from Abuja |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 10:31am On May 27 |
Spy360:APC has been better than PDP. If you remove emotions |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 10:34am On May 27 |
BlueRayDick:Its called Abacha stove because it was popular under Abacha. Those days even under PDP, use of stove and firewood was quite common |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 10:56am On May 27 |

raumdeuter:Egbon you have started again🤣🤣🤣, Last time it was Tinubu built Lagos😂😂😂. Yar Dua & Jonathan's era dwarfs Buhari + Tinubu, It would be an insult to add Obj. Nigerians in Nigeria have spoken, Nigerians in Diaspora don't have the lived experience, so anything we opine cannot be compared to those with the lived experience. And yes, I agree that investor confidence is returning based on economic prospect, Dangote Refinery like him or loathe him has been a positive impact (Jonathan initiative ) but currently people are going through pain, am afraid the govt isn't doing enough. People lived experience had been majorly better in Jonathan's vs APC. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 11:53am On May 27 |
Olowunl01:The government isn't even scratching the surface yet not to talk of not doing enough, when Cardoso was working day and night to make the monetary policy work and clearing backlogs, Wale Edun was nowhere to be found to compliment his work fiscally. Edun was refusing to release budgeted funds to ministry, refusing to pay contractors, even the 3 month wage award that the government itself announced, it took Wale Edun close to a year before paying it. Ridiculous. Tinubu should've relieved Wale Edun of his duties since the first year of the administration. They are very fast to implement reforms and then very slow in executing cushions for the masses. Look at the way this cooking gas issue skyrocketed within weeks, a sensible government will have communicated to the masses about what's causing the increment and what they are doing to tackle it but what did we get, radio silence. If anybody tell you they still trust this government, na lie. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 12:02pm On May 27 |
Personally, the only good policy of this administration has been NELFUND and stopping the incessant ASUU strike. Alausa has also tried in the Education sector with the various grants for students startups, research grants and the likes. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by sleekdot(m): 1:28pm On May 27 |
Olowunl01:Bros mi, we all saw the state of Lagos that Tinubu inherited and the concrete policies he put in place to turn the state around which we can now see. All that Boom we see can be traced to the blueprint which successive govt followed and shows to be superior to any other state Nigerians in Nigeria spoke in 2023 and elected Tinubu, they will speak again in 2027 and we can see if the online opinion match the reality of offline the voters so we wont take online opinion for reality Just like Olumide Apata was winning online polls but no one knew him in Edo Offline people's lived experience would be assessed through the votes next year Actually when we check then experience and remove sentiments, we knew how FG was borrowing to pay salaries during Jonathan era, how Diezani Kola Aluko were running riot Some of the failed policies of their regime is what Nigerians are feeling now which Tinubu is trying to fix |

Olowunl01:This is the first time in almost my entire adult life that I am not hearing official forex rate vs black market Where the govt picks their friends sell FX to them at one rate and directs you to buy from them at another rate. Surely those who dey run bureau de change will swear for this admin for blocking that easy path to wealth or those profiting from subsidies |

sleekdot:If we are being truthful, election in Nigeria is not a good reflection of citizenry lived experience or govt perfomance. Corruption during saint Buhari govt has been found out to dwarf Jonathan govt, or is Emefiele & Nigerian Air a joke to you? Let's not even mention Tinubu & Chagoury. Using Jonathan govt as excuse is so stale, haba after 11years diaris God ooo |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:00pm On May 27 |
Olowunl01:Overall elections even in Nigeria are a representation of the peoples wishes especially presidential elections Which election since independence do you look at logically and without emotions that you think the result was not fair. Whatever the reasons for voting the candidate, its always a fair reflection of the sentiments of the people Pick any election and let's debate it given the realities on ground at the time You dey mention Chagoury and air Nigeria. Lol we cant even exhaust the ones under PDP. I dont think Emefiele at his worst matched Diezani Not forgetting the arms deal that Dasuki stole, I personally know a senior military man under Jonathan that stole so much.. till date he still gloats about how money used to flow unlike now What about the Malabu oil deals Or you've forgotten the circumstances under which Sanusi Lamido left the CBN over unremitted funds from the NNPC account It takes a short time to destroy, for example it took several years to build 3rd mainland bridge but a bunch of terrorists can put explosive and destroy it in 30mins. To rebuild back will now take longer To be fair, it wasnt just Jonathan that destroyed it even all those before him did. We had the SFEM in the 80s. I remembered mid 90s when Abacha had official rates at N22 and selling rate at black market was N70. So many banks just had one branch to have license for forex buying and just sell to black market. N50 profit for doing nothing. That practice held for decades. That was corruption no level single individual can match |

raumdeuter:When he says money used to flow he is very correct. It was flowing very very well, it was felt in every corner. Even people in opposition benefited, only complain they can give is that they didn't benefit as much as those actually in PDP. Anybody that says money didn't flow to his or her side during PDP time omo it means that person was really at the bottom of all bottom of the cadre oh. Now this APC regime, money is flowing but only to people at the top. Even chieftains of the party are struggling lowkey, not to talk of regular members. There's as much money as the PDP days, just that it's not as evenly distributed as before. These days you have to be a senior party official or elected official to really enjoy. Meanwhile back in the days of PDP even ordinary ward chairmen were enjoying, today APC ward chairmen are hungry lol. |
