I still believe that this man is the wealthiest Nigerian. Why? When he took over after the death of Abacha for a few months, the entire country was upside down. There was no time for accountability for anything. It was simply just free money for the dudes that were in charge for those very sensitive months. When the new president (OBJ) took over, the administration was too busy and too excited to be in charge, so, the last thing on their mind was to go after the last minutes looters. So the administration and Nigerians simply moved on as if nothing had happened. Gen Abubakar was one of the last minutes biggest looters during this period that was never questioned about anything…The man simply turned the country over from the military to the civilian regime and moved on with his jolly life. |
