I know people that have up to 5 stores in ogbo ogwu...what will happen to the stores?
Are they going to be compensated with new stores at oba or they will have to buy new stores?

Someone without a single shop , God is planning for the person too

Oba is not a good location. Most of their customers are from Northern and western Nigeria. And Onitsha head bridge is the entry point into eastern Nigeria. This makes it easier from customers from other part of Nigeria

Second Niger bridge link-up is just 2minutes from the new site

Smart move. Development and innovation must be spread across every local govt. Anambra may become the next Lagos or better

The second Niger Bridge connects to Oba. There’s a big project going on there at the moment. It would be a game changer! That’s a good one by the Governor.

Don't mind the guy! I am sure he didn't do the right check before dropping that comment.

Smart move from Soludo! He is already consolidating on the gains second Niger bridge will bring to the area.

You seem to be slow in the brain.
Did you just rush to comment before understanding what he wrote?
He said it's easier for people from the North and West to buy drugs at the current location because the location is situated at the Head Bridge which is the point of entry into the East, unlike Oba which is farther inland.
Do you understand now?
If you don't, I can explain again

Stop comparing Lagos to that desolate land, your state and Lagos has nothing in common. How many visitors enter that dead state daily, compared to Lagos.

Anambra has the best roads. Besides you can connect the new site easily from the second Niger bridge if you don't want to follow headbridge via Upper Iweka which is still a big road.

Oga the road to the second Niger bridge starts from Oba so it is not a wrong move. it is a smart move after all in the long run

How many people enters your backward mud house infested Osun State daily. Lagos is the only place that compares to Onitsha in the whole of SW. Ibadan. Osogbo, Abeokuta, akure, Ado Ekiti are all villages littered with mud houses and rustic brown roofs.

This is the same question people asked when auto part in Lagos island was moving to ASPANDA at trade fair. People where wondering how those traders that land at ojota, jibowu, masa masa, would get all the way to trade fair .
Do you know that from ojota bus stop to trade fair is further than from head bridge to Oba? But people from other states are making that connection every time they come to Lagos to buy auto parts in wholesales.

Customers have no choice. Majority of the traders at the head bridge medicine market are established. Most are sole distributors , outlets for manufacturers or direct importers with franchises. They are the only source for most specific products. If you don’t go to them, you cannot find the products elsewhere for comparable prices.

Moreover, the second Niger bridge terminates at Oba. Soon Oba would became the last bus stop for those out of state shoppers.

Not true. As long as it’s not done by coercion. After all, Auto part in Lagos island moved to ASPANDA, Balogun comestics moved to trade fair, building materials at orile Coker moved to Agric ojo.
Igbo traders are for anything that would enable a safe and peaceful environment for their business.
It would only become a problem if you want to usurp them to develop a forest in the guise of relocation.
This has been the problem causing resistance with relocating Ladipo and computer village in Ikeja.

It's desolate fool, don't ever put it and Lagos in same sentence. Lagos IGR in a month is more than Anambra yearly IGR inflows. Nobody cares or visits those dead places from Southwest, except your brothers that have all relocated to southwest. Thank the yorubas for helping you make some wealth. Stupid ingrates.

Osogbo mud house dweller..what's the difference between Osun and Ogun or Ekiti or oyo or osun? Is it not the same mud house infested jungles? You should leave lagos and return to your mud house infested state. Lagos is not your state.

You don't have sense at all. Anambra did better than Lagos in 2021 Fiscal performance indices and if you are really looking at how Nigeria is igbos no longer come to south west again the migration has reduced seriously. it is rather the extremists from Niger, Chad and those from Northern states displaced from Boko Haram that are in Lagos. isn't it a shame that someone from outside comes under your nose and becomes wealthy while you and your kind are doing Owo mi da in bus stops and online cyber bullying and doing e-rats on nairaland. very soon i would buy off Nairaland from Seun let us see how you will post nonsense again.
