3. CIA careers (Graduate Studies Program)


Scholarship Programs

They offer financial needs-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.

In addition to a year-round salary, scholarship recipients will get up to $25,000 in tuition assistance per calendar year.
All recipients must be either entering or attending an accredited university.

Requirements

Undergraduate students must work at least one, and preferably two, 90-day session(s) at CIA before graduating

Graduate students must work at least one 90-day tour at CIA before graduating.
After graduation, all scholarship recipients must work at CIA for a period of 1.5 years per year of paid scholarship received

Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) provides STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Bridge Scholarships of $1,000 to students who will be sophomores or juniors.

Students from any federally recognized minority group in STEM and enrolled full-time in a program of STEM at one of the five Virginia Space Grant member universities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Allied Health Science majors are not eligible for this program. VSGC is currently reviewing applications for the 2022-23 academic year and applicants will be notified of their status soon.
