Former Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu has stated that the South East will not vote for Peter Obi in the upcoming presidential election in 2023. This was stated by Ekweremadu in a brief interview with newsmen that was widely circulated on social media. The former Deputy Senate President admitted that Obi is a credible presidential candidate, but the South East will vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, rather than Obi.
