PDP Commissions a Befitting Office Donated by Ambassador Ogbuewu

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has commissioned a befitting edifice, donated to Ebonyi Central Senatorial zone of the Party, by the Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Senatorial Candidate of the party for the Zone, His Excellency, Ambassador Frank Nchita Ogbuewu. Speaking on the occasion, the South East Zonal Auditor of the Party, Chief Lazarus Ogbee, who stood in for the National Vice Chairman of PDP, South East, Chief Ali Odefa, thanked Ambassador Ogbuewu for donating the beautiful edifice for PDP; "I want to thank our leader, His Excellency, Ambassador Ogbuewu, for how he contributed immensely in having of this office, God bless you Sir. I thank everyone of you that contributed in one way or the other for the success of today. I want to assure you that we will be there for you, while you are there for us." Chief Ogbee, further expressed confidence, that PDP will win all elective positions in 2023. The State Chairman of PDP, Chief Tochukwu Okorie, who was represented by his Deputy, Barr Ifeanyi Nworie, thanked Ambassador Ogbuewu on behalf of the Chairman, and enjoined other zones to emulate Ebonyi Central. "His instruction is to appreciate the leadership proficiency and the penchant efforts of His Excellency, Ambassador Franklin Nchita Ogbuewu, he has really put action to the tension of the executives of this party, especially in Ebonyi Central zone. His action, and of such to getting this edifice to the growth of this party, has actually brought him to the driver's seat of this party in Ebonyi central senatorial zone. The truth must be told, we are not here to favour anybody, we are here to say the truth." The Zonal Vice Chairman of PDP, Ebonyi Central, Barr Onwe Caleb Chukwunonso, who addressed Ambassador Ogbuewu as an Incoming Senator highly applauded him for procuring the Zonal office, and asked God to replenish his pocket, in wherever he sourced out funds in procuring the edifice; "Your Excellency, it is my honour and privilege to stand here today to appreciate you for procuring this zonal office, and donating same to the executives of PDP, Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone. Your Excellency, since the inception of this Party in Ebonyi State, nobody has ever done this to PDP in Ebonyi State." "Your Excellency, may I use this opportunity to thank you so sincerely, and ask God to provide for you, wherever you source out this fund you used in procuring this place for us, may God replenish it 100 folds in Jesus name." He further said that the gesture Ambassador Ogbuewu demonstrated in donating the office is historic, and prayed God to grant him victory in 2023. "Your Excellency, if you go to Ebonyi North, or Ebonyi South, they don't have any Senatorial district office. It is only for your show of love, show of commitment to growth and progress of this Party that made us to have this place. This place is even better than any state office of any political party." "Your Excellency, come 2023, God will crown you with victory, and you will be the Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone." The incoming Senator representing the zone, Ambassador Frank Nchita Ogbuewu, while delivering his remark, said that the essence of demonstrating the generosity is for Ebonyi Central to have identity, and urged the Leaders of the zone, to come together, and make the zone, an envy of other zones. He also enjoined the Zonal Chairman, to employ people that will be working in the office, who will be assisting him in day to day activities of the party. "There is no other reason behind it than to give ourselves identity, to give Ebonyi Central identity, and here is our own. I want all our leaders to come together, to make our Zone the best, among other zones." "This beautiful edifice can not be left unattended to, they are going to have staff, irrespective of how many they may be, whether adhoc or whatever, but there should be somebody working here to assist the Chairman. So, the officers of the zone will equally be able to have somebody to say, get this for us, or do this for us, so I'm asking all of you, please, let us come together, to make this Zone the envy of other zones." He maintained that since he is out for Ebonyi Central, he will continue to go far for the interest of the zone, and that Ebonyi Central will be a special zone, that will always be given a unique recognition; "The Chairman said here, that he is assuring us of winning all our elections, so, it is not just about Frank Ogbuewu, it is not just about Senatorial position, it is about every other positions that will be contested, like Governorship, House of Representatives, House of Assembly, even President. So, Central is going to be recognize as a Special Zone. And I want to assure you people that since we have gone this far, nothing is going to stop us from achieving our aims and objectives" Speaking on the occasion, the Senator representing Ebonyi Central zone, Chief Joseph Obinna Ogba, thanked Ambassador Ogbuewu for procuring the office, and assured everyone, that Ebonyi Central will produce the Governor of Ebonyi state in 2023. On his part, the Member representing Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Anayo Edwin Nwoñu, lauded Ambassador Ogbuewu for the gesture, and reaffirmed the remark of Senator Ogba, and maintained that Ebonyi Central will be the Governor of Ebonyi State in 2023. The Chairman of the occasion, and former State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Mr Bethran Okulegu added his voice in eulogizing Ambassador Ogbuewu for procuring the office, and expressed confidence, that PDP is the only party we have that can win election in 2023. The occasion, attracted dignitaries, including Hon Emeka Irem, State, Zonal, and Local Government Executives of PDP. Highlight of the occasion, was an official welcome of the former Chairman of Ezza South Local Government, Chief Joseph Egede, who defected from APC to PDP. Read more:
