So him or his wife cannot donate kidney for their dieing daughter but want to take a minors own. So non of his other kids can donate for this his daughter that he wants a 15 yrs old to start living his life at this early stage with one kidney? In as much as he wants to safe his daughters life what he wants to do to that boy is evil. He could have gotten an adult for that but no it's a small boy who doesn't know his right from his left.

Diplomatic pardon for what exactly? If he is found guilty then he should face the full wrath of the law.

Sadly, he is high up there and it will be an Ibori case. Nigeria will ask for extradition of their citizen if he is arrested, in a few months they will grant him pardon.

He should have negotiated with a proper 21 year old in the trenches to donate a kidney for a pathway to japa and say 25 million Naira, which is one weekend allowance as Nigerian senator. Many young people would have jumped on this offer. Forging international passport is criminal and it says a lot about the real intentions. It will be difficult for Ike Ekweremadu and wife to escape this completely even if the boy's parents signed any agreement.

Two things:
1. We Nigerians take a lot for granted and having money or connections doesn't help our tendency for impunity.
2. This case says a lot about how politicians would sacrifice lives without batting eyelids for self-preservation.

He wanted a healthy kidney.That little boy may have underwent Series of checkup here in Nigerian hospital before he was flown abroad.

Not buying any of the kumbaya comments here. I am sorry, but I have no sympathies to give. Other people's children have died through their neglect of the health sector, accidents on bad roads, poor diet and disgusting living conditions due to poverty. These are also people's children, some whose deaths could have been prevented. Politicians are all collectively complicit in the needless deaths of Nigerians whose only crime was to be born in this country. Carry your cross, oga. I will reserve my sympathies for those who truly need help.
