Aptech Osogbo Center started its operation in June 2022, intending to develop the capacity of tech enthusiasts and professionals with in-demand skills to excel in the IT industry with a pathway to earning a globally recognised degree in the field.

About the role
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in teaching and/or actively engaged in software development. The candidate must be able to deliver a programming and software course curriculum (lecture, practical exercises and assessment). Prior experience working with the trending and widely used programming tools, languages and software are essential.

Designation: Software Engineering Instructor
Job Type: Full Time (On-site)
Location: Osogbo, Osun State

Responsibilities:
• Deliver Programming and Software course curriculum (lecture, practical exercises, formal and informal assessment activities).
• Teach different advanced programming techniques and languages, and support the Digital Transformation Hub.
• Advanced technical experience in domains related to software engineering and development principles.
• Enhance lessons using appropriate and relevant examples derived from professional experience.
• Assess, track, and report student performance and attendance in line with Aptech policies and procedures.
• Conduct all administrative functions required for successful execution of course delivery.
• Maintain an appropriate and professional relationship and mentorship with the students.
• Maintain professional awareness of changes and trends in software engineering and development.
• Maintain and update the Learning Management System with curriculum/eLearning developed materials used to support the training.
• Background experience or knowledge in the Software Engineering domain / Programming languages is a must.
• Must be willing to work and live in Osogbo, Osun State.

Languages and Tools Requirement
Python, C++, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, C#, MySQL & PHP, MongoDB, NetBeans, CoffeeCup, Laravel, Bootstrap, Windows and Linux

Qualification
Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering (ADSE) from Aptech
BSc or HND in any discipline with strong Software Engineering or Development experience
