In a daring move fraught with brazen impunity and cross criminality an officer of the Nigerian Police force attached to the inspector general of police Monitoring Unit has Fraudulently obtained and diverted the sum of 3 million Naira belonging to Fitilah global entertainment.

Trouble Started with Mr Adeshina Adekanmbi, Managing Director of Fitilah global entertainment when shortly after he had made reservations for an event hall for a musical event slated for 2nd of January 2021 at the Civic centre in Victoria island Lagos, he was picked up by police officers of the disbanded IRT and handed over to the officers attached to inspector general of police Monitoring Unit Abuja on the basis of a fictitious petition from a faceless individual for alleged fraud.

Mr Adekanmbi Was subsequently placed under a 4 month gruelling detention without Been arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction not until the press Uncovered the highly unconstitutional and Condemnable act and exposed it to the reading of the public.

While Mr Adekanmbi Was still under detention the officers attached to inspector general of Police Monitoring Unit dispatched a letter of invitation signed by a superintendent of Police by the name Usman Garba inviting the managing director of the Civic centre for questioning where he was subsequently placed under a 24 hour detention and cajoled to refund the sum of 3 million Naira earlier paid to his company by fitila global entertainment and was instructed to pay the said amount into a keystone Bank account with the Name Oseni Mohammed Auyo

It is instructive to note that even as Mr Adekanmbi is currently facing prosecution before a High Court in Abuja the Said Sum of three Million Naira was Never tendered as exhibit nor mentioned before the Court Suspecting diversion by the officers involved particularly the investigating police officers in persons of Asp Bala Abdullahi and Inspector Reuben Noah.

A message sent to the inspector general of the Nigerian Police Force seeking his explanation to the allegations was not replied at the time of filling this report.

This Act Unfortunately Perpetuated by officers of the Nigerian Police Force a constitutional Body responsible for the protection of lives and properties of Nigerians is a heavy dent on the integrity and professionalism of the Force.

I will never wish anything good for the police
..after everything I have been through with them.

In terms of theft, I fear policemen pass armed robbers.
