Online flaming is the act of posting insults, often including profanity or other offensive language, on the internet. This term should not be confused with the term trolling, which is the act of someone going online, or in person, and causing discord (Wikipedia).

Our culture has been shattered by the addictive usage of social media usage and which pave way for online flaming where people tends to insults anyone they can't face regardless the relationship, age, position or worth.

The prevalence of online flaming among Nigeria is as a result of lost societal values and deliberate illiteracy. Most of the perpetrators are often young male or female who are unmarried or married and jobless.

The venom of online flaming is vast on the victims as it might lead to death.

Let use social media with our senses intact.

Enjoy your day
