Churches and other religious groups elsewhere played serious roles to checkmate tyranny but in Nigeria, bishops are easily won over after useless visits to either meet the governors or the president. No other group commands the unalloyed loyalities of millions like these religious bodies but some of them seem totally confused on where to draw the line on the concept of the churchs non involvement on state matters.
