Warri - The senior special adviser on political affairs to the Delta State Governor, Hon. Omimi Esquire has commended the director general of the foremost People's Democratic Party (PDP) pressure group MORE For Delta Youths Project Comr Fred Sheriff Oborevwori Jnr for his bold and articulate step taken to canvass support for his father, the gubernatorial flag bearer of the PDP by initiating the MFDYP movement.

The commendation came today when the steering committee of the MFDYP meet with Hon Omimi at his Warri office. Omimi, who is one of the group adviser from Delta South senatorial district said that, "this is first of a kind in Delta State that the child of an aspirant is in the forefront of canvassing support especially amongst youth for his father. Before now, we only see aspirants children flown abroad during electioneering period. I really commend his for putting up this formidable structure".

Omimi used the opportunity to advise the group to be diligent in their duties so as to ensure that PDP wins election at all levels in Delta State. He went further to admonish members of the steering committee to take the campaign to the grassroots by engaging all electorate to believe in the mandate of the People's Democratic Party.

He went further to state that the Okowa's administration has worked closely with youths and as such, youth must canvass support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa presidential aspiration.

Amb. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole Enarise, the deputy director general operations who represented the director general Sheriff Junior express gratitude and thank Omimi for his support and advise given thus far to the group. He use the opportunity to intimate Omimi on the tentative inauguration date of MFDYP scheduled for 14th July, 2022 at the Delta state capital, Asaba.

In attendance to show solidarity with the political adviser was, Hon. Hope George Senior Political Assistant to the Delta State Governor and the Warri South PDP publicity secretary Hon. Pessu Richard.
