Dr. Musa Dangiwa, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has on Monday slammed those criticizing the party’s presidential flag bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his certificates.
Dangiwa insisted that governing a country is about intellectual mindedness and ability to put things in perspective.

He added that Buhari did not acquire a University education yet he was able to successfully rule the country for 8 years.

He said: ”The same issue was raised when president Buhari was campaigning. Some, even said he did not go to primary school, and some said he cannot speak correct English. But he is about to complete his eight years in office.

“President Buhari ruled over professors, academia and highly intellectuals are his kitchen cabinet members, they decide on policies, and their implementations.”

He subsequently assured Nigerians that if Buhari can rule successfully for eight years, without blemish, Bola Tinubu will rule victoriously because of his antecedents.

I am beginning to think that we have more backward thinking persons in Nigeria than forward thinkers. This one is just thinking backwards. Such persons should not be allowed to rule.

What is really wrong in demanding for the certificates of someone aspiring to the highest position in the land? I have the photocopies of my credentials even in my office drawer because government might call for verification anytime. The law has stipulated the academic qualifications of someone seeking to be president. If Tinubu does not have FSLC and WAEC it then means he is not qualified by virtue of the constitution. Let us call a spade a spade and stop being sentimental because Tinubu is involved?

I pity any person supporting these people..... Insecurities everywhere, health zero, education zero.

And that same Buhari has shipwrecked Nigeria.

While it is right to question the absence of records for his pre-university schooling, it is an exercise in futility, especially in Nigeria.

It is like the case of someone who is a billionaire in Nigeria. The supporters do not care how the person came about the money, legitimately or not. They will simply point to the businesses the person has.

So, BAT certificate matter should be put to rest.
