IFALADE STRESSES NEED FOR TOLORENCE AMONG LAGOS RESIDENTS. The need for peaceful coexistence and understanding among the people of Lagos State has been emphasised by the General Manager of Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan. Oyekan said this while commenting on the crisis in Mowo town following the accident involving a commercial bus and a cow. The bus driver rammed into the cows, killing two of them instantly.. Following the killing of the cows, the Fulani herdsmen was said to have sought blood, killing the conductor of the commercial bus which drew the ire of the inhabitants of the Community who sought revenge. However, the quick intervention of Officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency through their community contacts averted a full blown crisis. The Corp officers arrested the herdsmen and handed over to the police for further action while they also convinced the community leaders to help in averting the crisis.. Ifalade commended the Officers for their quick thinking which averted the crisis, while he prayed community leaders to always play positively to peace in their communities just as he commended the traditional rulers in the area for joining hands with the Law enforcement agencies in averting the crisis. 1 Like

Yoruba too dey fear-fear❗️❗️❗️ How can one or two Fulani youth descend on a fellow Yoruba on Yoruba soil and slaughter him on the streets without challenge from Yoruba youth❓ To the level that they even allow the criminals to be arrested❗️❗️ In any other regions of the country, this Fulani would have been lynched right on that point. ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ Only thing Yoruba can do is to talk and issue empty threats. That is why Northern miscreants do as they wish on Yoruba soil. They know that Yoruba are very good at raking, but will never attack❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ This guy will be back on the streets in less than 7 days to continue dealing with the cowardly Yoruba. ☹️☹️☹️ 3 Likes |

At least this is a manageable approach than a free for all jungle justice. Others who equally participated in the murder should be investigated and rounded up as well. The full weight of the law should be applied to this case to serve as deterrent to other primitively inclined herdsmen who are quick to commit murder as payback for the death of a cow. ollymooreagain: |

<<Decent people would have come to negotiate with the driver.. <<Undertaken would have been signed for him to pay for the cow if that spot was 'Cow crossing ' or animal crossing...I mean some countries got animal crossing zones.... <<Instead of killing a human being because of an animal that would be killed some day.. |

I see people calling Yorubas names because the man was arrested and not killed by a mob action. Truth is everybody can't be unwise like you guys the ESN you guys created to fight the Fulani herdsmen is still the samr ESN going about killing your people and stopping your people from working every Mondays. I am sure you guys joy would be that the same thing happens in the SW. Civilization has passed unwanted jungle justice. |
