A little girl found a Bible in the corner of the house. She held it up and asked her mother, "what book is this, mother?"
Her mother said, "that is God's book, the Bible."
The little girl, with piercing insight advised, "why don't we send it back to Him, since we never use it?"

The truth is that we can read it and still not really use it. We can quote the Bible in every conversation, read it everyday, and yet fail to apply it.
Real application of the Bible repuires us to follow it in the pratical way. God words works in in us perfectly when we make up our mind to do them. God's hearts beats in love and longing towards those that pratically puts Him first in everyday life affairs.
When we become what the Bible teaches us to become, only then are we making the right and proper use of it.

We need the Holy spirit to direct and guide us to keep God's word. As we make up our mind to obey God's word, His Holy spirit will equip us with grace required to remain faithful.
