Agribusiness refers to agricultural sector activities that are integrated across multiple organisations in terms of production, processing, marketing, and exports/imports. Agribusiness is the study of agricultural product production, marketing, and exchange.

In addition, it encompasses improved growing methods, agricultural equipment, fertilisers, herbicides, pre- and post-harvest processing, storage, transportation, packaging, and labelling. The primary objective of the curriculum is to instruct future agribusiness managers in both production technologies and agricultural business. The MBA Agribusiness programme is therefore a response to the rising demand for individuals who can contribute to and engineer the agribusiness revolution.

Agri-business management has great potential for training personnel in a variety of operational areas, including management personnel for cooperatives and the agriculture industry, policymakers for the entire financial sector, agriculture consultancy, Agri-banking, high-tech farming, agriculture conservation, etc.
