AKERMAS ENERGY LIMITED IS LOOKING FOR A CARGO OPERATOR (PUMPMAN/MOTORMAN)
 Contract Position
 Duration: 3 Years

INTRODUCTION
Akermas Energy is an indigenous company incorporated to deliver value added services to her clients. We aim at providing engineering and integrated solutions in developing new facilities, and highly conversant with classification rules & other standards and codes for Oil and Gas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Maintain a 12-hour watch of Cargo systems inside and outside the Central Control Room.
 Operate cargo, heating coil, inert gas and ballast valves, pumps and crude oil wash machines as directed by the Chief Engineer.
 Undertake all duties related to the functions and related equipment for receiving, storing and offloading crude oil.
 Undertake first line maintenance of equipment (including chipping and painting for preservation). Assist as
 Mechanical Operators and welder/fitters when working on process system.
 Maintain cargo and ballast equipment including pump room, ullage gauges, inert gas valves, COW machines, hoses etc.
 Undertake other duties as required by the Marine Supervisor.
 Ensure compliance with Company permit to work system, isolation standards.
 Be aware of roles and responsibilities with regard to emergency response.
 General housekeeping duties in work area.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, and able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety in the workplace.
 FPSO or Tanker working experience in (Oil Tanker/FPSO) OIL & GAS, OFFSHORE PRODUCTION is a must.
 For apply to this position you need a to have minimum 8yrs Working Experience as CARGO OPERATOR
 (PUMPMAN/MOTORMAN)
 STCW 95 Certificate requirement is mandatory
 OOW Engine Unlimited certificate of competency
 Advance Fire Certificate/ Basic Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
 Advance Medicare / Elementary First Aid
 Certificate In Personal Survival Techniques
 Certificate in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
 Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations (OTF)
 OPITO Helicopter Underwater Escape Training
 OPITO Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
 Proficiency In Survival Craft & Rescue Boat
 Engine Room Resource Management
 Advance training for pump cargo operations and repairs.
