My country people, I purchased a plot of land of 100 feet by 150 feet and I sent someone to the local government office of Owode Obofemi local government area of Ogun State. I was told that there is a Ministry of land and Survey (LANS)department at the local government. I spoke to someone that told me some very suspicious things so I thought I'd come here and ask others about their experience. Here are the things I was told:

1) That I needed to pay N480,000 for the survey

2) That I would have to pay in cash . I found this one really strange

3) That it would take three months.

4) That the LANS official would first come and survey the land

5) They would then forward the documents they created to the state government office

6) The government officials would then come and visit the site

7) Then the plot and plan number would then be issue.

this is scam. dont give them any money.
